Empowerment Through Education

Our clinical longevity pharmacists don’t just deliver data. They guide you through the numbers, helping you decipher precisely what it means for your health, without some cookie-cutter protocol that doesn’t perfectly match YOUR needs.

Track Your Progress

Be proactive about your health journey. Monitor your individual opportunities for improvement, spot potential pitfalls, and learn how to age healthier with longevity-minded lifestyle planning.

Personalized Recommendations

Whether it’s lifestyle changes or supplement suggestions, our experts provide personalized advice based on your unique health data to boost your vitality.

Enhance Cognitive Function

Physical wellness is just as important as mental acuity. Our recommendations help improve brain function, memory, and energy levels, enhancing your quality of life and optimizing your health.
From visceral fat, muscle mass, and hydration status to strength, balance, and mobility, we help you understand these longevity-defining biomarkers so you can live a longer, richer, and healthier life. Preventive and proactive care is the new health experience you’ve been looking for.

What We Measure

DEXA Scan

Using low-dose X-rays to produce detailed images allows for a precise assessment of body composition and bone health. Once the assessment is complete, you will get a complete understanding of your unique body composition, which includes the following metrics:

  • Body Fat Percentage
  • Lean Mass
  • ALMI (Appendicular Lean Mass Index)
  • FFMI (Fat-Free Mass Index)
  • Visceral Fat
  • Bone Mineral Content (BMC)

Knowing and understanding these biomarkers is crucial in providing a blueprint to improve one’s lifespan. Goals can be set to help minimize body fat percentage while increasing lean mass, which can correlate with reaching the right levels of ALMI, FFMI, and visceral fat.

Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR)

The Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) assessment measures the number of calories your body burns at rest to sustain life (breathing, circulation, cell repair). It involves breathing into a mask that analyzes and compares oxygen consumption and carbon dioxide production.

Key metrics that are collected and analyzed during the RMR assessment include:

  • Sympathetic/Parasympathetic Activation
  • Ventilation Efficiency
  • Breathing Coordination
  • Lung Utilization
  • Heart Rate Variability (HRV)
  • Metabolic Rate
  • Fat-burning Efficiency & Mitochondrial Function
  • Metabolic Flexibility

Knowing and understanding these metrics is crucial in providing a blueprint to improve one’s brain, lungs, heart, and cell health. Based on each individual’s health goals, we are able to tailor recommendations best suited to reach those goals. That can include exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle.

Active Metabolic Rate (AMR/VO₂ Max Test)

The AMR assessment measures the maximum oxygen your body can utilize (VO₂ Max) during intense controlled exercise. While performing the exercise on a treadmill or cycle, you will wear a mask that measures oxygen intake and carbon dioxide output, similar to the RMR. The result indicates your aerobic fitness and cardiovascular endurance.

Key metrics that are collected and analyzed during the RMR assessment include:

  • VO2 Max
  • Ventilation Efficiency
  • Breathing Coordination
  • High Intensity Performance
  • Oxygen Circulation
  • Metabolic Rate
  • Fat-burning Efficiency
  • Movement Economy
  • Recovery Capacity
  • Metabolic Flexibility

One of the most important metrics from this assessment is your cardio-respiratory fitness (VO2 Max), which is the best predictor of how long and well you will live. Your biological age is also a strong indicator of lifespan, which is estimated based on your VO2 Max, fat-burning efficiency, and metabolic rate. Training programs can be constructed based on this data, through a combination of resistance training, cardio training, and interval training. Training zones are determined and utilized to prescribe exercise based on individual health goals. The two most commonly utilized zones in aerobic exercise would be Zone 2 and Zone 5. Zone 2 enhances fat-burning efficiency and good cellular condition, while Zone 5 improves VO2 Max, which reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease and increases the likelihood of longevity.

VALD Performance (Force Decks & Dynamo)

The VALD system assesses and monitors performance and physical health. Using advanced technology, we measure strength, power, balance, and movement quality. The data helps optimize performance by providing detailed insights into physical capabilities and areas of improvement. More importantly, this system helps with aiding in injury prevention and rehabilitation support, improving overall quality of life.

Assessments we utilize to determine athletic ability in relation to longevity include:

  • Quiet Stand
  • Single Leg Range of Stability
  • Squat
  • Countermovement Jump
  • Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull
  • Hand Grip Squeeze

InBody Body Composition Analysis

The InBody machine uses multi-frequency bioelectrical impedance to measure detailed body composition, offering a fast, non-invasive snapshot of:

  • Total Body Water
  • Skeletal Muscle Mass
  • Segmental Muscle & Fat Distribution
  • Visceral Fat Level
  • Basal Metabolic Rate
  • Body Fat Percentage

InBody is ideal for routine progress tracking and provides insights complementary to the DEXA scan.

Red Light Bed Therapy

Red Light Therapy (RLT) uses full-body exposure to red and near-infrared (NIR) wavelengths to support cellular function and overall wellness.

Wellness benefits may include:

  • Enhanced mitochondrial activity and cellular energy (ATP production)
  • Support for joint comfort and muscle recovery post-exercise
  • Skin rejuvenation and healthy collagen production
  • Circadian rhythm support and improved sleep quality
  • Assistance with metabolism and performance recovery

RLT is non-invasive, safe, and an excellent adjunct to aesthetic, performance, and longevity-focused wellness programs.

How We Measure

Health Coach

What is a Health Coach?

As defined by The National Board of Health and Wellness Coaching, health and wellness coaches support clients in activating internal strengths and external resources to make sustainable and healthy lifestyle behavior changes. Health coaches use a client-centered approach wherein clients decide their goals, engage in self-discovery or active learning processes, and self-monitor behaviors to increase accountability, all within the context of an interpersonal relationship with a health coach.

In the coaching relationship, coaches:

  • Clarify and define what clients hope to achieve
  • Collaboratively develop actionable items to reach client-created solutions
  • Hold the client accountable for their progress towards change
  • Are part of a major personal growth process undertaken by the client

Longevity Certified Pharmacist

The nuHx Longevity Pharmacist applies clinical pharmacy expertise to interpret advanced testing and translate it into safe, effective, and personalized strategies for metabolic health, performance, and long-term vitality. Leveraging a deep understanding of physiology, pharmacology, and therapeutic optimization, this role turns body composition data, RMR, VO₂ max, VALD strength profiling, and mitochondrial metrics into 4–12 week plans that align training, nutrition, recovery, and targeted supplementation with each client’s goals.

By combining clinical judgment with real-world coaching, the Longevity Pharmacist helps clients understand their numbers, adjust safely as their physiology changes, and track measurable progress over time. The mission is simple: use data and clinical insight to remove guesswork—so clients can build strength, resilience, and biological youth with clarity and confidence.
